Event Format: Operation Last Refuge 3 is a milsim-style objective-based airsoft experience, where two teams will attempt to complete their objectives in the area of operation over 5 hours.
After their victory during Operation Phantom Shield, and having successfully driven the People’s Republic of Newfoundland (PRN) out of the area, the Alliance of Confederated Municipalities (ACM) returned the local villagers of Robin Sage to their homes.
The villagers were supplied with new weaponry and training by ACM forces, in exchange for manning and operating the newly activated SAM site against PRN forces, effectively making the region a No Fly Zone for the PRN and crippling their ability to operate in the region. As part of their agreement, ACM pulled out of the area and let the villagers self-govern.
Over the next year or so, the situation in Robin Sage took a turn. The governing council was defeated in a recent election by a new populist leader - whose first act in power was to disband the council and give himself total and absolute power. This new warlord has stayed true to the agreement with the ACM, and has kept the SAM site manned and active against the PRN, but has begun to use the supplied weapons and training of the village militia to expand his territory. He has annexed other neutral settlements in the area, disposed of their leaders and subjugated their populations, all while claiming support from the ACM.
Recent news reports also indicate that the warlord has been dealing with criminal elements to put down any dissent. Locals in the region who speak out against his leadership are arrested and subsequently disappear, which has put political pressure on the ACM to intervene.
With the region now destabilized, both the ACM and PRN are having to re-enter the area and deploy forces to try and intervene. Will they attempt to broker a new deal with this warlord, or try to stop him from expanding his influence any further?
